Road Trip: Week 1

So we've been on the road now for exactly one week and are having so much fun seeing so many new things together. This really has been such a great time for the two of us to spend time together and we know that it is a pretty rare opportunity that we may not ever have again. Anyway - here's an update on what we've done so far!

Monday we drove to Pensacola, Florida, which means we drove through Louisiana and Mississippi which are both such pretty states. I love that everywhere we've been so far has been so lush and green! We stopped at a candy store and saw the world's largest gummy bear :) It was pretty big but I could definitely never eat that much gummy bear! We also stopped briefly to see the Baton Rouge temple and take a couple pictures - here's one:

And then we stopped at Destin beach on our way to Orlando and it was soooo beautiful - definitel the prettiest beach I've ever seen - white sand and clear, turquoise water. Just gorgeous and I didn't want to leave :)

Once we got to Orlando we stayed at another of Brent's aunt and uncle's for four nights and spent three days at Disney World - wahoo! We went to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios (our favorite), and Epcot. So much fun, but wow - our feet were really hurtin' by the end of those three days!

And then Saturday we drove through Georgia, spent some time in historic Savannah. It was so neat to see all the old, historic buildings and read about what happened there. Here's a couple pictures from there:

And today we're headed out to Nashville! So I'll have to do some more updating on our adventures next week.
