The Ozarks

This little cabin in the woods was our piece of heaven. We spent 3 lovely nights there and just really enjoyed the cooler weather, the fall colors, exploring the woods, driving through the mountains, touring caves, and just spending time together. We were in a nice little secluded area and I loved sitting on the porch in the mornings watching the fog roll in around us, snuggled up in blankets and sipping hot cocoa. I loved bundling up my little ones in sweaters and watching them play and explore. Clara loved swinging on the vines that hung from the trees and finding treasures - rocks, and sticks, and colorful leaves. The babies soaked up all of the new sights and sounds. And Brent really enjoyed being out in nature, building a fire and taking it easy away from the stresses of work. It was really nice to be "unplugged" and just experience it all together. We are already looking forward to when we can go back again!
