So this is the first post to catch you all up on what we've been doing this summer. One of our first adventures was down to Scottsdale, AZ with our friends Nate and Rachel. They had some connections down there so we could stay at a vacation house on a ranch and it was so. much. fun. Seriously. We were super lazy the whole time and were pretty much either swimming, watching TV, or eating good food. That's my kind of vacation! So here's some pictures of the outside of the place and of us playing in the pool:

And here are some pictures of the horses (there were about 15 of them) and their training area that was on the ranch:

And on our drive down to Scottsdale we saw some fun things -- first in the tiny town of Orderville where apparently they don't have enough people to staff a police department :) cause this is who was monitoring the roads for speeders:
And then we stopped by a big dam that I can't remember the name of, and of course the Grand Canyon! So beautiful! and crazy . . .
And that was our trip! We had a lot of fun and can't wait til we can go back :)
